Orion Breweries has released a debut fruit beer.

75 Beer Fruit Saison, which is flavoured with mangos from Okinawa, is a limited-edition release set to roll out in Japan for the Summer. The beer will initially be available in Nago City before rolling out to the wider Okinawa prefecture.

The announcement follows Orion’s confirmation last week that CEO Keiju Hayase has stepped down for personal reasons. The brewer has yet to name a replacement, placing two senior executives in temporary charge of operations.

In December, Heineken’s London brewery, Beavertown, released a saison as part of a new seasonal range for “connoisseurs”. The 5.8% Rule of Three, which can be matured post-sale, is blended from multiple barrels.
