Teeling Whiskey has launched another Irish whiskey under its namesake brand.

Teeling 30-Year-Old has spent 21 years maturing in ex-Bourbon casks before ageing for an additional nine years in barrels that formerly held Sauternes wine. The expression, which is limited to 4,000 units, is available now from Dublin airport, Teeling Distillery’s shop and the Celtic Whiskey Shop.

The company will expand the iteration’s presence to off-premise outlets in the US, the Benelux region, France, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Australia and selected Asian markets in January.

The expression is the oldest release to date from one of the brand’s aged ranges that also features 24-Year-Old and 28-Year-Old single malts.

In September, Teeling released an 18-year-old whiskey from its ‘Renaissance’ series that had spent around 16 years in ex-Bourbon barrels.
