Constellation Brands has ventured into premix wine RTDs, introducing two variants from new brand Next Round Cocktails.

The addition to Constellation’s portfolio comprises Salted Lime Margarita and Strawberry Lime Sangria. Next Round goes on sale this week in the US in the off-premise channel as well as through on-demand e-tailers including Instacart and Drizly. The range is available in both 1.5-litre bag-in-box and 50cl single-serve box formats.

The artwork for the packaging of Next Round Cocktails has been designed by award-winning illustrator Simone Noronha.

“Next Round Cocktails represents Constellation Brands’ commitment to innovate for consumer-leading trends, such as creatively intersecting the growing consumer interest we see in the … pre-mixed cocktails category and the … premium boxed wine category,” said VP of emerging brands Ann Stockman.

Constellation has been busy in RTDs and premix cocktails this year. Also today, the group debuted a range of “spirits-based hard seltzers” from its Svedka vodka brand. Last week, Constellation also added four new expressions to its Corona hard seltzer range in the US.
