The proportion of drinks manufacturers hiring for cloud-related positions dropped in June year-on-year, according to analysis of job trends in the industry.
Some 52.9% of the companies monitored by GlobalData were recruiting for at least one such position last month. That is lower than the 60% of manufacturers hiring in the field a year ago and a decrease compared to the figure of 64.7% in May 2022.

GlobalData says its analysis suggests food manufacturers are hiring for AI jobs at a rate lower than the average for all companies within the research group’s jobs analytics database. The average among all companies stood at 6.3% in June.
