US-based company The Procter & Gamble’s IT hiring declined 8.8% in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 4.14% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 5.24% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2022, and recorded a 0.76% decline over the last three-month average share.
Database and Network Administrators and Architects tops The Procter & Gamble IT hiring in October 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by The Procter & Gamble, Database and Network Administrators and Architects emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 42.31% in October 2022, and a 120% rise over September 2022, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 34.62% in October 2022, and registered a decline of 50%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 15.38% in October 2022, a 33.33% rise from September 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at The Procter & Gamble
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in October 2022 with a 46.15% share, which marked a 100% rise over the previous month.
South & Central America stood next with 30.77%, registering a 100% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 15.38% share and a 71.43% drop over September 2022.
In the fourth place was Asia-Pacific with a share of 3.85% and a month-on-month decline of 75%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 3.85%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
Poland commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 30.77% share in October 2022, a 166.67% growth over September 2022. Costa Rica featured next with a 30.77% share, up 166.67% over the previous month. US recorded a 15.38% share, a decline of 69.23% compared with September 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead The Procter & Gamble IT hiring activity in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.08%, down by 13.64% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with a 23.08% share, a growth of 50% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 3.85% share, down 50% over September 2022.
