A legal representative for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has labelled Diageo’s move to end its relationship with the US rapper and entrepreneur a “cynical” attempt to move the conversation away from his claims of discrimination.

Combs went public with his plans to sue the spirits giant last month. In court filings in New York, the Grammy award-winning artist accused Diageo of racism and intentionally sabotaging the DeLeon Tequila brand.
