Gallo has signed a distribution agreement with Spritz Society to expand the ready-to-drink brand’s presence in major retail locations in the US.
The specific terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
The distribution agreement, effective immediately, will initially launch in South Carolina, Illinois, Texas, and Florida, with a nationwide rollout set for March, according to a statement from the company.
Gallo will distribute a range of Spritz Society SKUs. including the flavours pink lemonade, peach, pickle and lemon iced tea.
Pink lemonade blends “hints of strawberry, rose, and lemon” while the peach flavour, launched in 2022, is said to offer a taste reminiscent of a peach bellini.
Lemon iced tea is a carbonated drink combining black tea and lemon while the “limited edition” pickle flavour will be available nationally from March.

Spritz Society founder and CEO Ben Soffer said that the deal would help the brand “to expand our retail presence nationwide”.
“We are looking forward to working with the team and pairing our innovative approach to marketing and community with their best-in-class route-to-market and execution.
“Our national expansion starting in March will allow Spritz Society fans to finally find our products in their local stores, marking a major milestone in our long-term growth strategy.”
All Spritz Society cocktails are “low sugar”, “gluten-free”, contain “120 calories”, and have a 4.5% abv.
Packaged in four-packs of 12oz slim cans, the drinks retail for $12.49.
Speaking on the agreement, Gallo vice-president of marketing Beth Orozco said: “At Gallo, we are on a mission to win new friends for wine by ensuring legal drinking age consumers have access to products that are versatile and approachable. Spritz Society’s portfolio is ideally positioned to help us do exactly that.”
Other recent distribution deals for the group include its investment, via its spirits arm Spirit of Gallo, in July last year.
Under the terms of the deal, Gallo will become the official US distributor for Ron del Barrilito following the completion of the transaction.
While Gallo’s portfolio is primarily focused on wine and spirits, it has made recent moves to diversify its portfolio in May, with an investment in local beer brand Montucky Cold Snacks.
