The Coca-Cola Co is to sponsor a Unity Cup event for Special Olympics athletes during the run up to the FIFA World Cup.

The Unity Cup will take place at Green Point Stadium in Cape Town, South Africa, on 3 July prior to a World Cup quarter final match, Coca-Cola said.

Special Olympics athletes will play alongside “football legends and other celebrities”.
