PepsiCo has launched a bottled juice targetted at teenagers who “have outgrown the juice boxes and pouches of their childhood”.
Frutly is a mix of water and fruit juice packaged in 12oz (35cl) bottles. Each bottle contains zero sugar and 60 calories.
The range comprises three flavours – Strawberry Kiwi, Fruit Punch and Apple Grape.
According to PepsiCo, Frutly fills a “clear whitespace” among juice brands as it addresses parents’ desires for more nutritious beverage options and the needs of teens.
“Having hydrating drinks available that are also shelf-stable remains essential as we all continue to work and learn from home, and Frutly is well positioned to serve as a delicious and nutritious option that both teens and their parents can agree on,” said Anup Shah, CMO for PepsiCo Beverages North America’s juice brands.
Frutly is available in single flavour four-packs in the US grocery channel.
Earlier today, PepsiCo unveiled a targeted media campaign for PepsiCo Zero Sugar in the US that offers 70 different pieces of content using the same six-second clip and multiple voice-overs.
