UK firm Radnor Hills has launched a flavoured packaged water designed to tackle vitamin-and-mineral deficiencies caused by the coronavirus lockdown.
Radnor Vits, available in Lemon & Lime and Apple & Raspberry flavours, provides a dose of up to 200% of the daily recommended vitamin D and mineral intake. The product is in Tetra Pak packaging and can be purchased from Radnor’s online store or through Amazon.
Radnor said it is targeting listing opportunities in UK supermarkets, health stores, care homes and hospitals.
“When we heard that 20% of the British population is deficient in vitamin D, and that this is a growing problem thanks to lockdown and people staying indoors, we decided to create a new daily drink to help tackle the problem,” said Radnor owner & MD William Watkins.
Vits is not the first functional drink from Radnor. In 2019, the company launched Radnor Plus Energy, containing seven B vitamins and 70mg of caffeine.
