The US division of Rémy Cointreau has teamed up with alcohol delivery service Drizly to launch the ‘Virtual Cocktail Studio’ – a series of online sessions designed to teach consumers how to make classic cocktails at home.

Three sessions over the next two months will feature experts giving in-depth masterclasses on the three most popular cocktails in the US: The Original Margarita, The Martini and The Old Fashioned. The recipes feature Rémy Cointreau brands Cointreau, The Botanist Islay Dry Gin and Mount Gay rum.

Rémy Cointreau USA said each 45-minute-to-one-hour session would discuss core ingredients and feature a step-by-step tutorial, along witih twists on the classic recipes. Participants can sign up via the Drizly website or join the livestream on the company’s Facebook page, with all ingredients available in advance from Drizly.

The Rémy Cointreau USA x Drizly Virtual Cocktail Studio Sessions begin with The Original Margarita this Friday (16 October) followed by The Martini on 12 November and The Rum Old Fashioned on 3 December.

Rémy Cointreau has moved to enhance its digital and e-commerce activities this year following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the appointment of a new head of digital, and the opening of a new ‘e-boutique’ for luxury Cognac Louis XIII last week.
