St Lucifer Spirits has taken its “hyper-oxygenated” Dirty Devil Vodka brand to the US.
Dirty Devil Vodka will be available in off-premise locations in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania from May at an SRP of US$ 27.99 per 75cl bottle. Launched in 2019, the 42% abv vodka is a blend of non-GMO corn and water that, according to the company, contains five times as much oxygen as regular water.
The Canadian company will employ national importer Trinity Beverage Group’s Verity Wines division to handle the brand in the three states.
“Encouraged by our success, we decided to enter one of the world’s largest vodka markets and have partnered with an outstanding team to help navigate the complex US market,” said St Lucifer Spirits’ CEO, Murray Merkley.
Trinity CEO Hill Flynn added: “We are confident that this brand – with its ultra-smooth finish, higher proof and value for price point – has a unique role to play in the vodka category.”
Last week, Oregon-based Hood River Distillers unveiled its new Timberline Vodka brand, made with 14 varieties of US apples.
