Notably, social responsibility was one of the most frequently referenced themes in Q2 2024, ranking highest in terms of mentions, ahead of regtech and future of work, according to GlobalData.
Of the top leading companies in the consumer industry, Hindustan Unilever had the greatest increase in references for social responsibility in Q2 2024, compared with the previous quarter. GlobalData identified 263 social responsibility-related sentences in the company's filings - 4% of all sentences - and a decrease of 18% in Q2 2024 compared with Q2 2023. Mondelez International’s mentions of social responsibility rose by 19% to 185 and Nongfu Spring’s by 18% to 139 and Christian Dior’s by 9% to 117 and LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton’s by 569% to 87.
