Europe is the fastest-growing region currently for cybersecurity hiring among beverage companies, according to recent research.

In the three months to the end of November, the number of vacancies advertised in the region accounted for 33.1% of total cybersecurity jobs – up from 21% in the same quarter a year earlier. Europe was followed by North America, which saw a -1.8 year-on-year percentage point change in cybersecurity roles.

Which countries are seeing the most growth for cybersecurity roles in the drinks industry?

The fastest-growing country was Poland, which accounted for 13.6% of all cybersecurity job adverts in the three months to the end of November. In the corresponding period a year earlier - September to November 2020 - the country's proportion was 6.5%.

Poland was followed by Denmark (increasing by 3.9 percentage points), Romania (rising 1.9), and the US (up 1.6).

The US was the largest market for cybersecurity roles in beverages, accounting for 32.2% of all roles in the quarter.

Which cities are the biggest hubs for cybersecurity workers in the drinks industry?

The leading cities were Poznan in Poland and Atlanta - home to the Coca-Cola Co - each hosting 11.1% of beverages' cybersecurity vacancies in the quarter. The pair were followed by Milwaukee with 4.8% and Hyderabad in India, which held 4.2% of the vacancies in the drinks industry.
