IT jobs accounted for a 2.66% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in November 2022, registering a decrease of 0.8% over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in November 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 48.48% in November 2022, an 88.24% rise over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 27.27% in November 2022, marking an 18.18% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Miscellaneous Computer Occupations with a share of 12.12% in November 2022, a 27.27% drop from October 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 27.78% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s drinks industry during November 2022 over previous month.
Nestle posted 14 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered an increase of 100% over the previous month, followed by Coca-Cola with 13 jobs and a flat growth. Coca-Cola Icecek with 7 IT jobs and Carlsberg with 6 jobs, recorded a 133.33% rise and a 33.33% drop, respectively, while Red Bull recorded a 50% increase with 6 job postings during November 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s drinks industry
The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s drinks industry IT hiring activity with a 15.15% share in November 2022, a 100% increase over October 2022. Turkey featured next with a 10.61% share, up 75% over the previous month. Bulgaria recorded a 10.61% share, a drop of 36.36% compared with October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.61%, up by 11.11% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 21.21% share, registered a growth of 55.56% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 18.18% share, up 9.09% over October 2022.
