June 2022 has seen a decrease of 12.71% in the overall hiring activity when compared with May 2022.
IT jobs accounted for a 4.26% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in June 2022, registering an increase of 0.49% over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in June 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 39.66% in June 2022, an 11.54% drop over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 29.31% in June 2022, marking a 52.78% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Computer and Information Analysts with a share of 15.52% in June 2022, a 25% drop from May 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 21.28% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s drinks industry during June 2022 over previous month.
Carlsberg posted 9 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a decline of 50% over the previous month, followed by PepsiCo with 8 jobs and a 46.67% drop. Coca-Cola HBC with 7 IT jobs and Red Bull with 7 jobs, recorded a 600% rise and a flat growth, respectively, while Anheuser-Busch InBev recorded a flat growth with 6 job postings during June 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s drinks industry
The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s drinks industry IT hiring activity with a 20.69% share in June 2022, a 40% decrease over May 2022. Poland featured next with a 15.52% share, down 10% over the previous month. Austria recorded a 10.34% share, a growth of 50% compared with May 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.14%, down by 30.65% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with a 13.79% share, registered a decline of 38.46% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 12.07% share, down 50% over May 2022.
