UK-based company The Body Shop International’s IT hiring declined 24.8% in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 14% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 15.71% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2022, and recorded a 2.26% decline over the last three-month average share.

Computer and Information Analysts tops The Body Shop International IT hiring in October 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by The Body Shop International, Computer and Information Analysts emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 91.3% in October 2022, and a 40% drop over September 2022, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 6.52% in October 2022, and registered flat growth. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 2.17% in October 2022, a flat growth from September 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at The Body Shop International

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in October 2022 with a 63.04% share, which marked a 12.12% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 32.61%, registering a 58.33% month-on-month decline. Middle East & Africa was the third leading region with a 4.35% share and a 100% rise over September 2022.

The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 60.87% share in October 2022, a 15.15% decline over September 2022. US featured next with a 17.39% share, down 42.86% over the previous month. Canada recorded a 15.22% share, a decline of 68.18% compared with September 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead The Body Shop International IT hiring activity in October 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 80.43%, down by 41.27% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with a 17.39% share, a growth of 14.29% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 2.17% share, flat growth over September 2022.
