The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 3.41% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s consumer industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
J. R. Simplot posted 74 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a drop of 31.48% over the previous month, followed by PepsiCo with 67 jobs and a 272.22% growth. Carrier Global with 52 IT jobs and Prp Wine International with 47 jobs, recorded a 32.47% decline and a 235.71% growth, respectively, while Petco Health and WellnessInc recorded a decline of 43.42% with 43 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 57.47%, down by 17.45% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with a 21.61% share, registered an increase of 0.46% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 18.43% share, down 25.4% over September 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 2.49%, recording a month-on-month increase of 66.67%.
