The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 1.3% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.
Out of the drinks industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.12% share in October 2022, recording a decrease of 0.4% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 29.76% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s drinks industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
PepsiCo posted 67 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a rise of 272.22% over the previous month, followed by Coca-Cola Consolidated with 14 jobs and a 33.33% drop. Coca-Cola with 12 IT jobs and Nestle with 10 jobs, recorded a 100% growth and a 56.52% decrease, respectively, while Carlsberg recorded a decline of 62.5% with 6 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 52.9%, down by 1.35% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 27.54% share, registered an increase of 40.74% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 18.12% share, up 13.64% over September 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.45%, recording a month-on-month increase of 100%.
