Bacardi has unveiled a new RTD flavour for its Bombay Sapphire gin in the UK.

Bombay Sapphire Bramble & Tonic, which uses the brand’s berry-flavoured Bramble gin launched last year, will be available from this month. Meanwhile, Bombay Sapphire & Light Tonic RTD, launched in the US in March, will also roll out in the UK.

Summer is just around the corner and the popularity of ready-to-drink just continues to grow,” said Bombay Sapphire’s global vice president, Natasha Curtin. “The beauty of our ready-to-drink portfolio comes from an emphasis on convenience but not at the expense of taste or quality.”

The 6.5%-abv Bombay Bramble & Tonic has an SRP of GBP2.80 (US$3.85) and will go on sale in UK retailers Sainsbury’s, Ocado and Waitrose from mid-April, and Nisa and Tesco from May. Light & Tonic will be available from Morrison’s, Ocado and Waitrose from mid-April, Nisa from May and Co-op from September.

Last month, Bacardi announced it was in the final stages of gaining sustainable status for Bombay Sapphire’s last two uncertified botanicals.
