Brooklyn Brewery has added an 8% abv hazy double IPA to its Pulp Art portfolio.

The New-York based brewer has created Pulp Art Hazy Double IPA off the back of its original Pulp Art Hazy IPA, which debuted in 2021. The beer’s artwork was created by UK-based design agency Thirst and is inspired by the Pop Art movement.

As well as cans for the off-premise, the beer will be available on draught for the US off-premise nationwide.

“With Pulp Art Hazy IPA being so successful, we asked ourselves, ‘how can we bring something new and different to this category, but still land in the same general category that has resounded with our customers?’,” said Brooklyn’s VP of sales, Miles Moser. “The brewing team answered with an incredible Hazy Double IPA that has a new and different take on a tropical flavour profile and a higher abv.”

Last year, Brooklyn Brewery, which is part-owned by Kirin and has a rights arrangement outside of the US with Carlsberg, added two new non-alcoholic beers to its stable. Around 10% of the company’s sales now come from alcohol-free brews.
