By GlobalDataThe 48% abv expression, which is limited to 620 units, was created in collaboration with Portuguese winemaker Dirk van Niepoort.
“Port is a symbol of rich flavours and intense maturity,” said Dictador’s master blender, Hernan Parra. “Niepoort is the symbol of merging family traditions, high-quality products and ever-evolving creativity … It symbolises what this project stands for; the synergy of two masters.”
Launched in 2015, Dictador’s 2 Masters range showcases a series of the brand’s rums blended with offerings from other spirits and wine producers such as Hungarian wine company Royal Tokaji and French Champagne house Leclerc Briant.
In January, the company launched the first in its Capitulo Uno series of limited-edition aged rum expressions.
