Engine Gin has launched its namesake gin brand in the UK.
The company today said its 42% abv gin is made using solely Italian ingredients, including Tuscany-grown juniper, liquorice root from the province of Calabria and Sicilian lemons. The iteration, which is distilled at a facility in the Italian region of Piedmont, is available now from alcohol e-tailers, including The Whisky Exchange and Hard to Find Whisky.

The gin is housed in an aluminium can designed to look like a can of engine oil that the company said has been designed to “represent Engine’s ’80s moto aesthetics and exhilarating brand personality.”
Earlier this week in the UK, recently-rebranded Portobello Road Distillery launched the limited edition Special Reserve 101 Gin that has using a potato-based spirit base.
