Mexican dairy and juices major Grupo Lala has appointed Francisco Camacho Beltran as its new CEO.
Beltran will take over from Arquímedes Adriano Célis Ordaz as of 1 May.
Célis Ordaz had been working in the position since 2019, when he replaced Mauricio Leyva as interim CEO.
He will stay “linked to Grupo Lala”, retaining a position on the company’s board.

Camacho Beltran holds 30 years of experience in the consumer products sector, having worked for French dairy major Danone, drinks and retail group FEMSA, as well as the cosmetics company Revlon and consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble.

By GlobalDataIn 2023, publicly-listed Lala booked annual revenue of 98.99bn pesos ($5.91bn), up 5.6% on the year prior. Net profit increased 90.7% to 2.79bn pesos.
Lala manufactures a range of food and beverage products, including milks, and flavoured milk RTDs, fruit juices, yogurts, pudding desserts, butters and sliced meats, among others.
It also holds licenses to sell and distribute Nestlé’s milk drinks brands Svelty, Chamyto and Gastro Protect, as well as Blue Diamond’s almond milk label Almond Breeze, in Mexico.
The company manages 141 distribution centres and 16 factories in its home market of Mexico. It also has presence in the US where there are two factories, and in Brazil, which has nine productions sites and 22 distribution centres.
