The Italian-based drinks group Davide Campari-Milano SpA is set to spend €500m on three acquisitions, according to press reports from the country.

The newspaper Finanza & Mercati said on Saturday that the possible acquisitions would include one in the wine sector, one in spirits, and one in soft drinks. However the reports did not cite any sources.

The company is particularly keen to look at the spirits sector, which is less fragmented and has solid, well-known names, the report said.
