Kings & Convicts Brewing Co has returned a seasonal beer for its Ballast Point brand in the US.

Victory At Sea Imperial Porter is now available in 45cl can four-packs of 16oz cans from selected retailers in California and on draught from the brewer’s Little Italy, Miramar, Long Beach and Anaheim taprooms. The variant will be available until January.

The imperial porter, which was first launched in 2009, is infused with coffee and vanilla beans and features a re-designed graphic on the 45cl can.

Kings & Convicts purchased San Diego’s Ballast Point from Constellation Brands in March last year, four years after the latter acquired the company for US$1bn.

In February, the new owners rolled out two colourless beers for the brand in the US.
