La Martiniquaise-Bardinet has added another expression to its Glen Moray Scotch whisky brand’s ‘Warehouse 1’ collection.

The 2008 Manzanilla Finish is a single malt that was produced at the company’s Elgin facility. Distilled in February 2008, the UK exclusive was finished in Manzanilla Sherry casks, which originated from the Spanish region of Cadiz.

The iteration is the last in this year’s run from the brand’s Warehouse 1 series, following the 1998 Barolo Finish, launched in October and June’s 2005 Tokaji Finish.

La Martiniquaise-Bardinet acquired the Glen Moray brand and distillery from Moet Hennessy in 2008.

Last week, The Scotch Whisky Association named former UK ambassador to Argentina Mark Kent as its next chief executive.
