La Martiniquaise-Bardinet has added a second expression to this year’s ‘Warehouse 1’ line from single malt Scotch whisky brand Glen Moray.
The 1998 Barolo Finish iteration, which follows on from June’s 2005 Tokaji Finish, is the second in the three-strong series for 2021. The liquid has been matured in ex-Bourbon casks prior to being finished in three ex-Barolo casks.

By GlobalDataNamed after the storage facility at Glen Moray’s Elgin-based distillery, the Warehouse 1 Collection kicked off late last year. The third and final iteration for this year will echo its siblings, comprising single malt that has spent time in “casks sourced from some of Europe’s oldest, noblest and most distinctively flavoured wine varieties”.
La Martiniquaise-Bardinet acquired Glen Moray from Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton in 2008.
