Lux Row Distillers has launched a limited-edition expression of its namesake Bourbon whiskey brand.
Daviess County Double Barrel Bourbon is a no-age-statemented iteration that has been finished in Missouri white-oak barrels with toasted heads. The Bourbon was created in collaboration with Ducks Unlimited, a US-based non-profit organisation dedicated to the conservation of the country’s wetlands and wildlife.

By GlobalDataThe new expression is available in limited, albeit unspecified, quantities from selected retailers in the US and Ducks Unlimited members will be able to purchase it at upcoming events hosted by the charity.
“The double-barrel finishing process that goes into Daviess County Double Barrel Bourbon is a perfect nod to our Ducks Unlimited partnership, and it brings a unique flavour profile to our latest Daviess County offering,” said the company’s master distiller, John Rempe.
The release is part of a series re-launched by Lux Row last year, that pays homage to Kentucky-based Daviess County Distilling Co, which dates back to 1874.
