The company’s first expression has been produced at the Tequila Cascahuín distillery located in El Arenal, Mexico. The spirit has been rested in red wine barrels for 29 days, creating a slightly pink Tequila.

Montagave is working with craft wholesale distributor LibDib and plans to first launch locally in the Roaring Fork Valley region of Colorado state. Following the soft launch, the plan is to push the Blanco to different US markets before the end of the year.

“Montagave is the result of those magical moments gathered with friends and family eating, drinking, connecting, and celebrating,” said company founder John Melvin. “What inspires us today is crafting the finest Tequila in the world to enhance those moments for others.”

Earlier this week, Amber Beverage Group launched a marketing activation worldwide for its Rooster Rojo Tequila brand. The campaign encourages consumers to ‘Sip Don’t Slam’.
