Pernod did not disclose where the casks are sourced from. The company owns the Martell Cognac brand.

The new TX Whiskey is the third expression in the distillery’s ‘Barrel Finish Series’ after TX Straight Bourbon Tawny Port Finish and PX Sherry Finish. The Bourbon is also the last TX Whiskey to be made by master distiller Rob Arnold, who will step down after a decade of service. Master blender & head distiller Evan Brewer will replace Arnold.

TX Whiskey was founded in 2010. Pernod acquired the distillery as part of its 2019 takeover of owner Firestone & Robertson Distilling.
