Q Mixers, a US-based drink mixers company, has appointed Betsy Frost as its new CEO.

She will replace Bob Arnold, former Mondelez International, Bacardi and Coca-Cola executive, who has led the group since 2022.

Just Drinks has asked the company to confirm when Frost is due to step into the new role and why Arnold has stepped down.

Q Mixers noted that Frost’s appointment “marks a new chapter” for the company.

In a statement, Q Mixers board chair Bob Nakasone said: “We are thrilled to welcome Betsy as our new CEO and are confident that she will take the brand to new heights.”

“Her thoughtful approach to building brands, combined with her strategic vision and proven leadership excellence, will be instrumental in driving exceptional results.”

Frost has over twenty years of experience in the beverage industry and consumer packaged goods sector.

Previously, she was the CEO of the non-alcoholic drinks brand Hoplark, where she helped the business secure Series A funding.

Frost has been credited with “driving product innovation and accelerating brand activation” at the Hoptea and Hoplark 0.0 maker, helping to expand the group’s portfolio.

Prior to her time at Hoplark, Frost served as president of Dry Soda Co., where she focused on elevating its “premium positioning”.

Her experience also includes 13 years at General Mills, where she led marketing for brands such as Cheerios and Yoplait.

Frost also managed a company-wide new product incubator, launching new $100m platforms and overseeing the portfolio of brands and products in the convenience and foodservice channel.

Speaking on her appointment, Frost added: “Together with our team and partners, we will continue to push the boundaries of innovation, quality and flavour to delight consumers and grow category usage.”

Set up in 2007, Brooklyn, New York-based, Q Mixers produces a range of mixers for use in cocktails, mocktails, or as standalone drinks.

The group’s portfolio offers 14 SKUs, including tonic water, ginger beer, and club soda. In April, Q Mixers launched the Q Spicy Mango Margarita Mix.
