
PepsiCo had the most open cybersecurity jobs advertised among major beverage companies in the first seven months of the year.
Between 1 January and 31 July, PepsiCo was advertising 85 positions linked to cybersecurity, GlobalData, Just Drinks’ parent, said.
The Gatorade owner was followed on the list by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton and German drinks group Oetker. According to the research, the companies were hiring for 68 and 41 roles in the field respectively.
GlobalData’s job analytics database tracks daily job postings across multiple industries, including consumer goods. As part of the research and intelligence company’s analysis, it groups jobs by theme, providing an indication of where businesses are focusing their hiring efforts.
Overall, the drinks companies monitored by GlobalData had 575 open cybersecurity roles in the first seven months of 2023, 4% up on the preceding seven months.
More than a quarter of the positions (147) were located in the US.
