The three-strong range will be available from selected retailers in Florida and New York City as well as nation-wide through Tepozan’s website. The range comprises Blanco ($45), Reposado ($55) and Anejo ($65) expressions.
The Anejo and Reposado iterations spend four and 14 months, respectively, maturing in white oak ex-Bourbon barrels. Tequila Tepozan partners Matt Hechter and Chris Brandon said the decision to market the range as additive-free comes from their experiences of poor-quality Tequila.

“Growing up in New Mexico, we’ve heard horror stories about Tequila being brought to the US filled with low-quality agave and a plethora of additives,” Hechter and Brandon said. “As long-time fans of spirits brands that take their process and ingredients seriously, we wanted to bring a traditional Tequila, free of all additives, to the US.”
Earlier this week, Tanteo Spirits Co revealed it will include packs of flavoured salts with purchases of its Tequila range in the US.
