The English Whisky Co has launched a limited edition brace of whiskies under its namesake brand.

The 51.4% abv Peated Rum Cask, which retails for GBP85 (US$112.86), is limited to 230 bottles. The 52.6% abv Virgin Oak & Sherry Cask iteration, meanwhile, is available at an SRP of GBP75 (US$99.95) comprises 286 units.

Further information on the ageing process used for both expressions was not immediately available.

The whisky in both expressions uses water that has been drawn from an aquifier underneath the company’s UK-based distillery that uses solar panels as an energy source.

In July, London-based whisky producer Bimber Distillery unveiled its 14-strong ‘County Collection’ of aged whiskies, released across 14 separate international markets.
