Beginning this summer, Trinchero will distribute 12 of Piedmont-based Ceretto’s wine brands, including Blangé Arneis Langhe, Moscato d’Asti, Asili Barbaresco and Bricco Rocche Barolo. The deal also sees Trinchero become the import, sales and marketing partner for the Ceretto wine portfolio in the market.

The duration and financial details of the arrangement were not disclosed while further information on Ceretto’s previous US distribution agreement was not immediately available.

“The Ceretto family has been a leader in Italian winemaking for more than 90 years and we’re honoured to partner with them as we continue to expand and elevate the portfolio of Trinchero Family Estates,” said Trinchero’s CEO, Bob Torkelson.

Earlier this month, the company launched a three-strong line of carbonated, lower-abv fruit-flavoured wines for its Sutter Home Family Vineyards brand.
