Arena International, Just Drinks’ sister events business, is holding its newest conference later this month, with a forum focusing on sustainability in the beverage industry.

Executives from Pernod Ricard, Heineken, Suntory and Tropicana are among those set to speak at Eco Drinks 2025, which will take place on 22 January in London.

The conference will bring together delegates to discuss issues ranging from the push to net zero and improving recyclability to waste reduction and water conservation.

Sandrine Ricard, the director for sustainability and responsibility communications at Pernod Ricard, is set to give a keynote address on how investment in ‘green’ technology can help improve production efficiency.

Later at the event, to be held at The Minster Building in London’s financial district, Heineken’s Jeroen Schoorel and Tropicana Brands Group’s Jonas Van Eykeren are to take part in a panel covering topics including recyclability, waste and water.

In the afternoon, Fraser McIntosh, head of external affairs and sustainability at Suntory Beverage and Food’s business in Great Britain and Ireland, will discuss the push for circularity across the value chain.

Two panel sessions are also scheduled for the afternoon – one weighing up collaboration across the supply chain and the other discussing issues including regulation and working with industry bodies.

And a pair of Diageo executives are set to close the conference with a session on how the drinks giant’s Breakthrough innovation team is working in the area of sustainability.
