The troubled UK cider group, H.P. Bulmer, has announced that it has exchanged contracts with regard to the sale of land near its production site in Hereford, England, for £6.125m. Bulmer said the sale was conditional on the buyer, Jennings Holdings, gaining appropriate planning permission for the site.
Bulmer said the proceeds from the cash deal will be used to reduce net borrowing.
