The range, which debuts in the group’s domestic UK market, will roll out to Australia in September before hitting other “key markets” worldwide early next year. Batch & Bottle comprises:
- Glenfiddich Scotch Manhattan, 30% abv
- Hendrick’s Gin Martini, 35% abv
- Monkey Shoulder Lazy Old Fashioned, 35% abv, and
- Reyka Vodka Rhubarb Cosmopolitan, 25% abv
In the UK, the line will be available online through Amazon and Master of Malt and at Harrods later this month. Carrying an SRP of GBP25 (US$35) per 50cl bottle, Batch & Bottle will then go on sale through multiple retailer Waitrose in August.
From launch to May next year, William Grant will donate GBP1 per bottle sold in the UK to drinks charities that support the country’s on-premise channel.
“For the consumer who wants to indulge in an upgraded at-home experience, they can now do so without the fuss or cocktail accoutrements,” said William Grant’s global innovation marketing manager, Karen Murphy. “Batch & Bottle provides an opportunity to showcase the world-class brands in our portfolio, while also providing an uncomplicated solution to perfect cocktail serves created and produced using our industry expertise.”
Earlier this year, Monkey Shoulder partnered with mixer brand Fever-Tree for a ‘Ginger Monkey’ mixer pack in the UK.
