The deals are expected to “strengthen” the US-based company’s position in the direct-to-consumer wine market.

Full Glass Wine has acquired Wine Access and Cameron Hughes Wine for an undisclosed sum “to transform the wine retail experience”.

The transaction marks Full Glass Wine’s sixth and seventh acquisitions in 17 months.

Full Glass Wine said the twin-deal will “strengthen” the California-based company’s position in the direct-to-consumer (DTC) channel, with an estimated revenue target of over $200m for 2025.

The acquisitions align with Full Glass Wine's strategy to expand its portfolio with premium brands.

Wine Access, founded in 1999, offers an online platform for discovering “exclusive wines” by combining wine expertise with technology, targeting a new generation of enthusiasts.

Wine négociant and producer Cameron Hughes Wine, based in California, claims to provide “premium wines at exceptional prices” and sources “top-quality” grapes from “leading vineyards”.

The business formerly belonged to Vintage Wine Estates. Delaware bankruptcy court approved the sale of Cameron Hughes after an auction hearing in September.

Full Glass Wine co-founder and COO Neha Kumar said: “Both brands are industry leaders in wine discovery and curation, and they bring deep expertise, strong reputations, and their established reputations make them an ideal fit for our rapidly growing portfolio.”

The deals will enable Full Glass Wine to leverage its “data-driven approach and operational efficiencies” to enhance the consumer experience and “drive future growth”.

Its other co-founder and CEO Louis Amoroso said: “Together, we are poised to transform the wine retail experience even further. Our combined strength in technology, logistics, and consumer insights will allow us to offer a truly personalised, seamless experience that resonates with modern wine lovers.”

The company's portfolio also includes brands such as Winc, Bright Cellars and Wine Insiders.

In September, Full Glass Wine acquired Splash Wines and Scout & Cellar, further bolstering its DTC wine operations.

Earlier in April, the company expanded its offerings with the acquisition of US peer Bright Cellars.
