Four days to go: Just Drinks’ beer conference in Portugal

Talks, data, fireside chats and analysis on the most pressing topics in beer – plus a brewery tour.

Jessica Broadbent

Just Drinks is getting ready for its twenty-sixth International Beer Strategies Conference, which takes place in the Portuguese city of Porto in a fortnight.

The conference, in partnership with Arena International, brings together breweries, analysts and drinks experts from all over the world to discuss the hot topics facing the beer industry.

With seemingly endless macro-environmental challenges, there is perhaps no better time to come together as an industry and discuss how to succeed in these choppy waters.

This year, hear from the likes of Rui Lopes Ferreira, CEO at Super Bock Group, Alessandra Fascetti, group innovation lead for global brands at Asahi and Rob Fink, founder of non-alcoholic brewery Big Drop Brewing Co.

The conference will start with analysis from GlobalData, Just Drinks’ parent company, followed by talks on branding, sustainability, premiumisation and data-driven trends.

Day two includes talks on AI, how other categories are influencing beer, NPD and innovation, decarbonisation and riding the cost-of-living storm.

The days are interspersed with fireside chats and round tables to dive deeper into key topics – a perfect opportunity to network.

Attendees will also be able to go on a tour of the Super Bock House of Beer in Porto.
