Xeco has launched two Sherry-based ‘spritz’ RTDs in the UK.
Xeco Fino contains fig and prickly pair flavours, while the Amontillado version features Sicilian orange and bitters. Both SKUs use the company’s namesake Sherry as its base.

By GlobalDataThe pair, which UK consumers can purchase through the Xeco Wines website, were created in collaboration with UK-based soft drinks producer Sekforde.
“Far from being a high alcohol drink to consume at the end of the meal – as people readily perceive Sherry and, of course, Port too – we have been single-minded in our aim to make Sherry a staple of the aperitif scene instead,” says Xeco’s co-founder, Alexa Davies. “Fino Sherry, in particular, is a really brilliant lower-alcohol alternative to the classic G&T.”
In June, Symington Family Estates launched a white Port & tonic expression from its Cockburns Port brand.
